My Walmart trip.

Using coupons, here are the deals I got today thanks to Walmarts stupid low prices and research done on the web.

I used a few BOGO coupons, combined with $ off coupons for some freebies.  Using the self checkout really helps when you have a lot of coupons.  It lessens the checkout lady scrutinizing every one of them.  Although I have yet to scan all of my coupons w/o assistance.  Truthfully, today I couldnt get a single coupon to scan and the central cashier had to transfer my order to her main station and scan each and every one of my coupons.  She was really nice about it.

I had a second set of razors as well but already gave those to my brother.  He wants to get his hands on one of those body washes as well!

Total 2.79.

Just a brief rant about Walmart

I made the big mistake of doing my grocery shopping at Walmart today.  Recently I had my windshield replaced on my car and need to get new Naval Base stickers so I could not go to the commissary, so I thought Walmart, why not?  I was not aware that today was the 1st day of May(payday for the entire county) and everyone and their grandmother would be at Walmart.  Yikes. 

As I bobbed and weaved my way down the isles I was disappointed to find the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner not marked down and still at the $20 price.  They also didn't have the Scotch Brite toilet scrubber.  I haven't been able to find that item anywhere!  AND, yes there's an and, the LiveActive cheese has gone up to $3.34!!!

The good deals I did find were the day old bread, always the best place to get french bread and whole wheat burger buns.  The Silk Soy milk was 2.98, not horrible with the coupon.  

Guess I'll stick to Albertsons sales and get those Base stickers back on my car.

I made $.67 cents at Walmart.

 Though not a big fan of the store, I will go for really good deals.  These are all the freebies I got today at Walmart. Most of these coupons were from recent newspapers.  

The cat treats were for 1 Free Bag, I had 2 coupons.  

The Suave lotions were for $1 off 1, giving a $.03 profit on each.  

The Glade Scented Oil was a $3 off coupon giving me a profit on that item of $.53.  

These toothbrushes were purchased with an online coupon you can print here.  One dollar off any Colgate toothbrush and if you search the shelf  (it took me a minute!) you can find the $.96 toothbrushes. This adds a small profit of $.04 each!

I also saw the big aerosol Glade fragrance sprays for $.94 each and I know there has been recent $1 off coupons, this would be another freebie!!  And a BOGO coupon as well.  Ill get mine next time!
