I got a couple of good ones this week. The ziplock vacuum sealer might come in handy if I can get some replacement baggies at a good price. How I love to freeze food!!

Just magazines for us this week! A couple good ones for me and the Robb Report for my husband. This is one he used to buy on occasion, so the few free issues were a great treat. (and I felt so proud of myself scoring that freebie for him!)

Super Sample Sunday

This will be two weeks worth, a fairly decent spread of useful items.  I had taken a picture before we left for the holiday but was actually to busy to even post it last Sunday!

Two weeks ago I got the BHG magazine, one I usually try to look at before my daughter destroys it!  A calendar and some Zevia coupons I requested.

This week I got two more magazines, popcorn and some dog treats I will save as we may get a dog next year.

Super Sample Sunday

I did pretty well for myself this week!  

A diaper is always useful and the 100% natural childrens cough syrup will be handy down the road. 

I also got a surprise freebie from Markers Mark alcohol (I signed up to become an 'ambassador' for free address labels a long time ago), they sent some wrapping paper, labels and ribbon.  The alcohol theme is on everything  and the snowflakes are made with bouborn bottles, its actually kind of cute.   They will be great on my brothers Christmas presents as I have not wrapped them yet!

SUper Sample Sunday

Okay, so it was not a super Sunday for me in the realm of samples.  More like a 'sad Sunday'.  I got nothin'.  My husband got a MotorTrend Magazine, does that count?

Maybe I need to be signing up for more samples.  Life has been really busy for me lately and that has not been one of my priorities.  Oh, well.

A smaller collection this week. But, some very practical freebies. Stayfree and Always are good to keep for back-up (I do prefer the comfort of cloth...) and, the Mori-Nu coupons I got will be used up very soon by me!

Super Sample Sunday

I got a really unusual array this week! First came this shirt with the Swedish Fish sample, I barely even remember signing up for this forever ago! The Clif bar sample came with a pair of pants I exchanged for a different size via mail (thanks, REI). The Glad sample came in our Saturday newspaper this morning (one sample plus coupon, ONE baggie? I thought, how comical!) and the magazines, of course, I signed up for!!

Super Sunday!

Well, its back.  

With a little break from Super Sample Sunday after my reliable reader stopped blogging I have decided to bring Super Sample Sunday back.  With a few changes.

Normally I only post my Free Samples for the week.  I would keep the weeks mail freebies in a bag in the coat closet until the end of the week, take a picture, then post it.  I had a few readers who would join in from time to time and it was really fun to see what each other got.

3 magazines in the mail this week.  No coupons or samples, huh...

To change things up and allow more people to comment or leave a link I will expand this to all free items you have gotten during the week.  In the mail, at the store, from a friend, a dark alley, ect.

We had wanted some lawn chairs for our huge porch at our new home but didn't have the money to buy anything right now (priorities).  While I decided to stop at a garage sale on my way home from the store the other day I noticed 3 stacks of chairs at the end of a driveway marked 'free'.  I was so thrilled.  I picked out 4 green ones that matched each other.  I was so excited to set them up and show my husband, now we can sit and enjoy the view!

I would love to see (or hear) what everyone else 'works' for during the busy week.  This should be fun!

Super Samples;

Ohh, I got some good samples this week.  I cannot wait to use the tapas skewers.  Guess I'll have to look up some veggie kabob recipes!

Super Savings;

My savings this week were spectacular!!  It helped that I bought a ton of groceries last week and only went to Albertsons for the sales, twice!  

I saved my family 103.99!!!  

I did only spend $4.70.  Certainly one of my better weeks!  Heres the picture of my first trip.

Super Samples;

Well, I guess I have been quite choosy in signing up for free samples!  All I got this week was a Shake mixer and a sample of the chocolate soy drink mix.  It really was a great sample for me because I love their products and actually purchase them on a rare but steady basis.  They are really good with a banana blended in.  Yum!!

Super Savings;

My savings this week were certainly very super.  I was a shopping maniac and hit a few different stores.  I actually saved my family $153.32 this week and boy are we stocked up on breakfast foods!  (scroll down to see what I spent my $46 out of pocket on!)

PART I; Super Sample Sunday

My, I only got a couple this week!!  Two from Fiber One w/ coupons (that will probably get used) and a great little magazine from Remedy Life with lots of great recipes, weight loss and health info.  You can still order one here if you dont already receive it!!  I always find those types of magazines inspiring to live a healthier life.

My favorite this week was probably the full size granola bar.  I always keep a snack in my purse for those days when I am out and about and need a little bite.  Hope its not nasty!

Well, I couldnt get the stupid picture rotated so here it is sideways.  (so maybe Im not so computer savvy) Oh, well.  Maybe it'll draw more attention.  Ha!

PART II; Super Savings Sunday

I always count Sunday as the last day of my week. This is when I add up my weeks spending and savings.  The amount I save on groceries is important to me, it makes me feel validated with all the hard work I do to save my family money and allows us to use this money in different areas of our lives.

I think I will add a Super Savings segment to my Sunday round-up and would love to hear what you have saved your family each week.  A link back to your site or even a comment would be great.

I came home to some really great freebies this week.  Four magazines I really like and an awesome book from Seventh Generation!  Natural laundry detergent, Fish Oil and a Sleep Kit from Tylenol.  Love it!
